Community check in for our strategic plan
Thu Aug 03 08:37pmKia ora e te whaanau,
Please find below the link to our 2023 community check in survey.
The purpose of this survey is to check in against our strategic plan before we form 2024’s annual plan. To see the strategic plan in full please head to the school website using the link in the survey.
The 3 aims of the strategic plan are:
Successful in learning
Confident in leadership
Working together
At the beginning of the survey we have asked demographic questions, this is to check we are reaching all parts of our community. There are two questions for each strategic aim the second question of each focuses on gaining actionable ideas for how we can improve. It is important that we hear from all of our community to ensure we are meeting the needs of all our students. To encourage you to complete the survey all named entries will go into the draw for a grocery hamper, which will be drawn at the end of this term.

Prize Giving Feedback
Wed Aug 02 09:47pmThank you to all the Whaanau, students and staff who gave us feedback on the format of our Prize Giving ceremonies.
The feedback we received has been very helpful. There was no clear indication from our community that changing the format is desired. It was a very even split between the three options put forward. We are therefore going to keep the current format of having both a Values and an Academic Prize Giving at the end of the year to celebrate the success of our students in the many different aspects of their school life.
We will, however, be splitting these over the last 2 weeks of term to ensure that students and Whaanau do not have two late nights in one week. We will aim to start both events at 6.30pm and finish them within 1 and a half hours, to ensure the nights are not too late for our younger students.
We will also ensure that both events are well advertised ahead of time and we will continue to send out emails to Whaanau of award recipients well in advance.
Again, thank you to everyone who gave us their time to respond and give us feedback.
Cross Country Tomorrow!
Wed Aug 02 09:03pmIt looks like tomorrow is going to be a gorgeous day for Cross Country!
We will have coffee available for parents to purchase from the window of the Food Tech room. $4 per coffee, cash only.
We will also be having a $2 sausage sizzle available for students to purchase after they have done their run. Parents are also welcome to buy a sausage.
All funds raised will be going towards our student leadership camp.
